~4Dgifts/toolbox/src/exampleCode/inventor/DirectManipTrackLight README This directory contains several Open Inventor files written by Paul Isaacs (pauli@sgi.com) of Silicon Graphics. TrackLite.iv is an interactive track light with various parts you can drag around with the mouse. AllRoom.iv is a room where you can see how these lights interact with other objects. It contains two track lights, a man, and two chairs. These files were made entirely from standard Inventor nodes and you do not require the developer's option to use them. To play with it, type: ivview -q AllRoom.iv Then, turn off the headlight by clicking RIGHTMOUSE and selecting 'headlight' from the pulldown menu. Get a nice point of view, then get out of viewing mode so you can interact with the object in the scene (to do this hit 'escape' or select 'viewing' with the RIGHTMOUSE pulldown). There are 5 parts to each track light you can click-drag to interact with: 1. slide the cyan beam left and right; 2. slide the magenta 'socket' forward and back along the track; 3. rotate the mustard colored bulb; 4. change the intensity by clicking on the green cube mounted on the wall; 5. change the beam spread by clicking on the green cone mounted on the wall;
